John Robert

John H. Robert, 81, of Crystal River, Florida, passed away October 23, 2018. He was born in Hammond, Indiana to the late Raymond M. Robert and Bernice Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Charlene Korte; daughters Denise Romano (Al) and Joleen Barrett; grandchildren Kyle & Amanda Romano and Devin & Colby Barrett; brother Steward “Pete”; and his sisters Geraldine Durham and Roseann Brown. John is predeceased by brother Douglas and sister Kathryn Strickland. He retired after 32 years, as a lieutenant firefighter for Metro-Dade Fire Dept. in Miami-Dade County Florida, a career he truly loved. John was a wonderfully caring husband, father and grandfather.
